Brentford left-back Jake Bidwell has signed a new three-year contract.
The 21-year-old has become a crowd favourite since arriving at Griffin Park from Everton.
He was brought in on loan in November 2011 and spent the following season on loan at the club before the Bees signed him on a permanent basis last summer.
Bidwell was one of Brentford’s stand-out players as they won promotion to the Championship last season and his next league appearance for them will be his 100th.
“This new contract is just reward for his performances last season,” said manager Mark Warburton.
“We are looking forward to watching Jake continue to develop and perform in the Championship.”
