Bees sign former Norwich City youngster

Brentford have signed former Norwich City youngster Nathan Fox on an 18-month contract.

The 19-year-old defender had been on trial with the Bees from non-League Cray Wanderers, where he had played this season on a non-contract basis.

Fox joined Norwich as an Under-13 player and left at the end of last season, just before his 19th birthday.

He started the current campaign at Concord Rangers before a switch to Cray, helping the south-east London side to second in the Ryman League Division One North table.

Fox, who can play at right-back or centre-back, will initially be part of Brentford’s development squad.
