Bees recall Dallas after injury to Harris

Brentford have recalled youngster Stuart Dallas from his loan spell at Northampton after Cardiff City winger Kadeem Harris suffered an injury against Preston.

Harris was stretchered off in the 3-0 win at Deepdale with a hamstring problem and his Bees loan deal expires on 5 January.

Dallas made 12 appearances and scored three goals for Northampton and was due to remain at Sixfields until next month, but manager Mark Warburton now expects him to play a part in the remainder of Brentford’s season.

He said: “We have been delighted by both the amount he has played and the level of his performances over the last few weeks [at Northampton].

“Stuart returns to the squad match fit and in good shape to play his part for the Christmas programme and the second half of the season.”
