Brentford among clubs keen on Yeovil defender

Brentford are among clubs monitoring Yeovil’s versatile defender Tom James.

The 21-year-old has made 46 appearances for the League Two club this season, mostly as a right-back. He can also operate at left-back and as a central-half.

Bournemouth, Swansea and Aston Villa have also been watching James in recent months.

A former Wales Under-19 international, he joined Yeovil last year. He was previously on Cardiff City’s books.

Meanwhile, Florian Jozefzoon is struggling with an ankle problem and is a doubt for Brentford’s game against Ipswich on Saturday.
