Scott Hogan was referred for a scan after suffering an ankle injury during Brentford’s pre-season win against French side Nice.
The 22-year-old forward, who was recently signed from Rochdale, limped out of the Bees’ friendly 10 minutes after coming off the bench.
He left Griffin Park wearing a protective boot around his right ankle.
“I’m going to have a scan to see the extent of the problem,” Hogan said.
“It was just at one of their corners. I tried to stay in front of my man and he just kicked out. But hopefully it won’t be too bad.”
