Brentford 0 Walsall 0
Brentford failed to see off promotion rivals Walsall despite creating a host of chances.
Loan signing Bradley Wright-Phillips made his Bees debut and Harry Forrester was on the bench for the second game running.
Wright-Phillips should have put his new side ahead with a close-range header early on.
Marcello Trotta also saw a number of first-half efforts saved by Walsall goalkeeper Aaron McCarey but the Bees went closest when Andy Taylor almost turned into his own net, hitting the post.
Brentford manager Uwe Rosler was left fuming on the touchline when his side were denied a penalty after Tom Adeyemi was tripped.
Forrester was introduced in the second half but Walsall stood firm.
