Brentford discussing deal to sign Canos

Brentford are holding talks with Norwich about the possible permanent signing of Sergi Canos.

The Bees want to sign a winger this month and have made the 19-year old, who shone for them on loan from Liverpool last season, their first-choice target.

A loan was initially discussed but the Bees are now targeting a permanent deal instead.

Canos scored seven league goals in 39 appearances for them last season and the club wanted to sign him permanently in the summer.

He moved to Norwich for £2.5m instead, but he has only made three Championship appearances this term.
