Bees complete loan signing of Judge

Brentford have completed the signing of former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Alan Judge on loan for the rest of the season.

Judge, 25, can play on the wing or as an attacking midfielder and is in his second spell as a Blackburn player.

He started his career at Ewood Park and returned there in the summer after a three-year spell at Notts County.  The Dubliner has also twice been on loan at Plymouth.

The Bees, who are top of League One, hope to make another addition to their squad shortly with the loan signing of Arsenal youngster Chuba Akpom.

Yesterday the club extended the loan spells of youngsters George Saville and Marcello Trotta from Chelsea and Fulham respectively.

  • Judgey will be a great signing for the Bees for sure. He is definitely a Championship class player and is a real 100% player, very tricky and quick on the ball and with a good footballing brain and a belter of a shot! He didnt get many games in his second spell back at Ewood but when he did get game time he always looked decent. Rovers seem to have found the right blend in the first team now (at last) so the lads chances willbe further reduced so this move will be good for him and for you lot! Good luck for the rest of the season!
