Brentford looking for more signings – Frank

Thomas Frank says Brentford remain keen to make new signings ahead of the Premier League kick-off.

Frank was speaking after the pre-season friendly against West Ham, who won 1-0 courtesy of a brilliant strike by former Brentford star Said Benrahma.

The Bees boss said: “I think we have a good squad. Of course we are aware of who is in the market and one thing for sure is that we will be looking while the window is still open.”

Frank already has good options in each position and looks likely to continue playing with three centre-backs – a system which served his side so well as they won promotion last season.

“From game to game I don’t want to change every single time,” he said.

“I will see how we grow as a team, whether to play three or four at the back.

“We want to play as aggressively as possible. I’m fairly confident going into the Premier League.”
