Round-up: QPR departure blocked, Pato could play, Terry speculation, Podmore loan move
It was an eventful transfer window for QPR, who managed to offload Leroy Fer and Sandro on loan.
But the club were not willing to part with Jamie Mackie – MK Dons made an enquiry about taking him on loan before signing Jay Emmanuel-Thomas from the R’s.
Fans on Twitter have been reacting to Fer’s loan move to Swansea, with some Rangers supporters disappointed to see him go.
West London Sport revealed this week that Italian defender Marco Motta would not be signing a contract at QPR following his recent trial.
However, media reports in Italy on Tuesday claimed the right-back could still secure a move to Loftus Road.
Meanwhile, QPR have announced a partnership with LGBT club London Titans.
Chelsea are in action on Wednesday evening. They play at Watford, where new signing Alexandre Pato could feature, according to Guus Hiddink.
Blues boss Hiddink has also said he was “surprised” John Terry announced he would be leaving Chelsea at the end of the season, suggesting the skipper could still be offered a new contract at Stamford Bridge.

There has inevitably been speculation about where Terry will be playing next season, including reports Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola, now manager of Al Arabi, wants him to sign for the Qatar club.
And in cricket, Middlesex’s Hammersmith-born bowler Harry Podmore will spend the opening weeks of the new season on loan at Glamorgan.

QPR are in trouble at the moment with two manager changes with poor results following.
The transfer window showed the lack of ambition I think the owners are disillusioned like us all with the performances on the pitch.
The owners have back us up till now but they must be wondering if any additional money thrown at the club is worthwhile.
The games I have seen this year QPR have been dire the quality of play and lack of creativity startling. It’s a four hour round trip for us to see a game longer if the coach is used enabling us to have a few drinks. At the moment I can see QPR
finishing just above the bottom three with next season not much more inspirational. The wind has been knocked out of our sails and our best players are leaving who can blame them.
I might feel a little more positive tomorrow lets hope so.
