Mourinho touted for Real return and Costa linked with Barca

Speculation continues over Jose Mourinho’s future amid reports that he could be sacked as Chelsea manager if his team lose against Liverpool.

Mourinho has been linked with Paris St-Germain and his ex-club Inter Milan in recent weeks and now a return to another of his former clubs, Real Madrid, has even been mooted.

Real’s former president Ramon Calderon has told Bein Sports he believes current president Florentino Pérez would be keen to take Mourinho back to the Bernabeu if he leaves Chelsea.

In an interview in today’s Daily Telegraph, Damien Duff says he wants to see Mourinho stay for another decade.

Duff, who previously played under the Portuguese at Stamford Bridge, insists: “It’s time to stick with him. There is talk of getting rid and replacing him.

“I know in the past at Chelsea that if a manager has struggled he has been out the door but Mourinho can build a dynasty. I would love to see him there in 10 years’ time.”

Meanwhile, the Daily Express have picked up on claims in the Spanish media that Chelsea striker Diego Costa is wanted by Barcelona.
