Transfer gossip: Chelsea continue to be linked with Yarmolenko

Andriy Yarmolenko has again been linked with a possible move to Chelsea, this time by the Daily Star.

Jose Mourinho travelled to Kiev to watch Ukraine play Spain this week, prompting speculation about which players the Blues boss was there to see.

Ukraine winger Yarmolenko, 25, was duly linked with a potential move to Stamford Bridge, and Everton have shown some interest previously.

The Star claim Arsenal are also keen and that all three clubs are on ‘red alert’ after he appeared to suggest he would like to leave Kiev.

“I still want to try my hand at some of the top championships as part of one of the strongest European clubs,” Yarmolenko is quoted as saying.

“I know that if Dynamo do receive a really serious proposal, we will find an option that will suit all parties.”

Meanwhile, there are reports in the French media that Chelsea are interested in Porto’s former Marseille midfielder Giannelli Imbula, who has been linked with several Premier League clubs in recent months.
