Transfer gossip: Mourinho linked with Yarmolenko and Spain trio

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Jose Mourinho’s attendance at the Euro 2016 qualifier between Ukraine and Spain in Kiev has led to speculation about who the Chelsea manager travelled to watch.

The Independent suggests he could have been there to see Ukraine’s Dynamo Kiev forward Andriy Yarmolenko.

The Daily Express have since suggested that two Spain players could be on Mourinho’s radar, with Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara and Celta Vigo forward Nolito mentioned.

Reports in Spain, meanwhile, speculate that Mourinho might have been impressed with Spain’s Real Madrid midfielder Isco, who has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League.

Following reports that Napoli have agreed a deal for Tottenham’s Moussa Dembele, the Express claims Chelsea were among the clubs interested in signing the former Fulham star.

The Express also say Chelsea will sell John Mikel Obi to Besiktas when the transfer window reopens in January.

It comes after the president of the Turkish club, Fikret Oman, confirmed he wanted the Nigerian during the summer window and indicated that he might make a move for Mikel this winter.

The Evening Standard reports that Chelsea are concerned by Patrick Bamford’s lack of first-team action at Crystal Palace, where the Blues youngster is on a season-long loan.

And the Daily Star again claims that Chelsea, who have been linked with Ruben Neves, face competition from Liverpool for the Porto youngster.
