Porto v Chelsea: Hazard and Matic axed, Terry on bench, Costa starts

Eden Hazard and Nemanja Matic have been dropped for Chelsea’s Champions League game against FC Porto, while skipper John Terry is also only on the bench.

John Obi Mikel replaces Matic while Willian and Ramires, who both scored after coming on in the 2-2 draw at Newcastle on Saturday, are also recalled to the starting line-up.

Kurt Zouma keeps his place alongside Gary Cahill, with Terry once again among the substitutes.

Diego Costa starts up front, in the middle of a domestic ban, but Oscar has not been named in the 18-man squad .

The decision to leave Hazard, Matic and Terry out of the side comes less than 24 hours after boss Jose Mourinho warned that none of his players were “untouchable” following Chelsea’s poor start to the season.
