Half-time: Fulham 0 Huddersfield 0
Jamie O’Hara’s long-range effort, pushed away from the top corner by Huddersfield keeper Joe Murphy, was Fulham’s best chance in a goalless first-half.
Defender Shaun Hutchinson was forced off with injury after just nine minutes, having previously threatened with an early effort from distance as both sides struggled to create chances in the heat at Craven Cottage.
New signing Andy Lonergan, in goal in place of the injured Marcus Bettinelli, had to make two decent saves to deny the impressive Danny Butterfield.
Lonergan was one of three changes to the Fulham side that lost at Hull City, with youngster Moussa Demebele coming in for the injured Matt Smith up front and Alex Kacaniklic replacing Ben Pringle on the left of midfield.
