QPR hand deal to youngster Rosenthal

QPR have signed teenager midfielder Tom Rosenthal – the son of former Liverpool and Tottenham striker Ronnie Rosenthal.

The 18-year-old has been given a one-year contract and will play for Rangers’ development side, subject to receiving international clearance.

He was previously on Watford’s books and was more recently with Belgian club Zulte Waregem.

His father spent eight years playing in England, where he had three-year spells at Liverpool and then Tottenham before joining Watford.
