QPR fans react on Twitter to new signing’s display against Yeovil
QPR fans on Twitter were full of praise for Grant Hall and other new signings after the 3-0 League Cup win at Yeovil.
Hall, recently signed from Tottenham, Ben Gladwin, Oscar Gobern, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Sebastian Polter all made their first starts after joining in the summer, while youngsters Cole Kpekawa and Michael Doughty were also given an opportunity to shine.
Polter and Emmanuel-Thomas both scored and centre-back Hall, playing alongside the more experienced Nedum Onuoha, caught the eye of many.
Grant Hall looked very composed in possession, could prove 2 b a big hit at Loftus Rd. #QPR

Hoping Grant Hall starts on Saturday over Hill. Love Clint to bits but we’re better off with him as a sub

Didn’t melt down after Saturday, won’t go overboard tonight. Early days, but encouraged by Kpekewa, Hall and Polter tonight. #QPR

Polter chasing back 80 odd yards in the 91st minute to defend shows you what he’s all about. #QPR #GoodLad
