Ramsey hands one-year deal to trialist Gobern

QPR head coach Chris Ramsey has made midfielder Oscar Gobern the latest addition to his squad.

Gobern has signed a one-year deal at Loftus Road after impressing on trial during pre-season.

The 24 year-old, who came through the Southampton academy, left Huddersfield Town at the end of the last campaign.

Ramsey told Rangers’ official website: “He’s a good young player with a lot of potential, and we feel with the right attitude and guidance, he can really kick on at QPR.

“We’re pleased to add him to the squad and increase the competition for places in that area of the pitch.”
