Fulham sign Finland midfielder Mattila

Fulham have signed defensive midfielder Sakari Mattila from Norwegian side Aalesunds.

The Finland international has agreed a two-year deal at Craven Cottage, with the option of a further 12 months.

The 26-year-old has also played for HJK Helsinki, Udines, Ascoli and Swiss outfit AC Bellinzona.

Mattila has won five caps for his country, including playing in the 2-1 defeat to Northern Ireland in Belfast in March.
