Ouseph beaten in Copenhagen Masters
Hounslow’s Rajiv Ouseph missed out on a place in the men’s singles final at badminton’s Copenhagen Masters after losing to Danish star Peter Gade in their Group Two clash on Wednesday evening.
After losing the first game, Ouseph took the second but Gade hit back to win the decider.
Earlier, the British champion won his opening group match, beating Dutchman Eric Pang 21-11, 18-21, 21-12.
Gade also recorded a victory over Pang, defeating him 21-13 21-11 when they met on Tuesday, and progressed to the final after beating Ouseph 21-14, 12-21, 21-15.
