Speculation over the futures of both Chelsea goalkeepers

Chelsea face a battle to keep Thibaut Courtois this summer, the Evening Standard claim.

The newspaper says Courtois’ representatives are actively exploring whether Real Madrid would be interested in signing the goalkeeper and that, in response, Chelsea have placed a £73m price tag on him.

Speculation about Courtois comes as Petr Cech continues to be tipped to leave after being displaced by the Belgian as Chelsea’s number one keeper.

Arsenal have been consistently linked with Cech and today there are reports that he is set to discuss his future with Chelsea.

Meanwhile, the Standard also reports that Inter Milan are interested in Chelsea duo Juan Cuadrado and Mohamed Salah.

Salah, who has also been linked with Tottenham, has impressed while on loan at Fiorentina and they are keen to sign him on a permanent basis.

The Daily Express suggest Inter will make an offer for Salah if they are unable to land Cuadrado.

The Daily Mirror say Inter will offer £12m for Salah and that the player remains open to offers.

The Express also claim Chelsea are among the clubs that will be ‘shocked’ by Manchester City’s spending plans this summer.

And Talksport say Chelsea face competition for the signing of Inter forward Mauro Icardi, who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for some time.

Real Madrid have apparently joined a race to sign Icardi, who is also said to be a target for Manchester City.
