Bees looking to extend Long loan deal

Brentford are in talks with Everton to extend Chris Long’s loan for a further month.

The 20-year-old joined on an initial month’s loan in January and has gone on to score four goals in nine appearances.

He had his loan extended in February until March 21 and the Bees are hopeful his parent club allow him to remain at Griffin Park.

Long, who had a spell on loan at MK Dons last season, scored in the Bees’ dramatic 3-2 victory at Blackburn on Tuesday but his current loan deal expires after this Saturday’s home fixture against Millwall.
