No approach from Rangers for Kalas
QPR boss Harry Redknapp has insisted he has not made an approach to Chelsea for youngster Tomas Kalas.
The Czech centre-back, 21, is on a season-long loan at Cologne and is reportedly hoping for an early exit after struggling to hold down a first-team place.
It was reported that Rangers were keen for Chelsea to recall Kalas in January and then loan him to them for the rest of the season.
And the player’s agent has suggested there is serious interest from the R’s.
But Redknapp said: “He’s a good player, I like him, but I haven’t spoken to anybody at Chelsea about him. We haven’t made any approach for him.”
Kalas impressed on his Premier League debut at Liverpool in April and has made four first-team appearances for Chelsea in total.
He is in his second loan spell at Cologne and has also been on loan at Vitesse Arnhem.
