Remy passed fit to return for Chelsea
Loic Remy is available for Chelsea’s clash with Liverpool.
Remy has been sidelined since going off with a groin injury shortly after scoring the opening goal in the Blues’ Champions League thrashing of Maribor on 21 October.
But the France striker has returned to training and is set to be included in manager Jose Mourinho’s squad for the visit to Anfield.
He was on the verge of a move to Liverpool from QPR earlier this season but the transfer collapsed and Remy subsequently joined Chelsea.
Mourinho has confirmed that Diego Costa will start Saturday’s game.
Costa has been left out of the Spain squad for their forthcoming matches, seemingly because of the Chelsea forward’s ongoing hamstring problem, but he is fit enough to play this weekend.
