Big chance for Fulham at shaky Reading and Bees can beat Brighton
Fulham remain in the Championship relegation zone with a solitary point from their opening five games of the season and will want make amends when they travel to Reading on Saturday.
The Cottagers have an opportunity to turn their season around, with four games inside 10 days, and look an excellent price to start with a win at the Madjeski Stadium; Fulham are 85/40, Reading 7/5 and the draw 12/5 with BetVictor.
The Royals have had a similar shaky start, with one win thus far, and have been eased out to 40/1 for the title after starting the season as 16/1 dark horses.
Fulham have signed Matt Smith from Leeds and he looks set to rekindle his excellent partnership with Ross McCormack.
Smith is 15/2 to score the first goal and 12/5 to score at any time in the game, with McCormack making similar appeal at 15/8 to score.
Brentford, meanwhile, have made an excellent start to life in the Championship and can continue their fine run of form against Brighton at Griffin Park at the weekend.
The Bees are marginal 7/4 favourites with BetVictor, while the Seagulls are 9/5 to win and the draw is 23/10.

In case you missed it, Charlie, Reading now have 3 wins in the League and Fulham still has a lone point after 6 games now. As for Matt Smith, he had a fairly non-descript first 17 minutes on the pitch, then had a very bad foul on Hope Akpan at 18 minutes, getting the remainder of the match and the next two off for a red card. Reading also had a clean sheet at match end, but only scored three – Kiraly in net for Fulham had several excellent saves or it would have been more. Carry on!

Might want to check your notes, Charlie – the Table says Reading has 2 wins, a draw and two losses in the Championship plus 2 Cup wins – you’re shorting the Royals a League win here! Hope your suggestions are better than your record-keeping!
