Boss hoping Hogan injury is not serious
Brentford manager Mark Warburton is hoping a knee injury suffered by Scott Hogan during the victory at Rotherham does not prove to be serious.
Summer signing Hogan was stretchered off 15 minutes after coming on as a second-half substitute at New York Stadium, where the Bees produced a fine display to win 2-0.
He fell to the ground in obvious pain and appeared to be in some distress as he was taken from the pitch.
“He’s being assessed. Our medical team are first class and will look after him,” said Warburton.
“Obviously everyone saw what happened – there was no-one near him. Hopefully it’s a twisted knee and nothing more than that.”
