Under-fire Magath wants more time
Felix Magath has urged Fulham fans to be patient after their team’s dismal start to life in the Championship.
The Whites boss was barracked after Wednesday’s home defeat against Wolves – their third loss in as many league games this season.
Magath said: “The message is sorry for the defeat but I can only ask for patience.
“We have a young team and I know it might be a tough beginning to the season but I am sure we are going the right way.
Fulham chairman Shahid Khan saw the game at Craven Cottage, where Magath’s starting line-up included six players aged 21 or under.
“We need a win and if we get one it will build up our confidence,” Magath added.
