Anelka’s Chelsea future in doubt
Nicolas Anelka’s future at Chelsea is in serious doubt amid speculation the striker could leave the club during the January transfer window.
Anelka was left out of the Chelsea squad for Wednesday’s Champions League game against Bayer Leverkusen, with Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas subsequently confirming the Frenchman is not injured.
And Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua have made an enquiry about the player, who moved to Stamford Bridge in 2008 and recently indicated that he would like to stay in west London until at least the end of the season.
The 32-year-old has scored 38 goals in 125 Premier League appearances since joining Chelsea from Bolton. He has also had spells with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.

Can we have him at QPR?
He’d score loads of goals given a run in a team!
