Fulham snap up midfielder Gecov

Fulham have signed Czech midfielder Marcel Gecov from Slovan Liberec for an undisclosed fee.

Gecov has agreed a two-year contract and is Fulham’s third signing of the summer, joining John Arne Risse and goalkeeper Csaba Somogyi at Craven Cottage.

He caught the eye of a number of clubs while playing for his country at the Under-21 European Championship in June.

But Gevoc was already being monitored by Fulham, whose scouts had been watching him for over a year.
