Duo missed as Eagles suffer defeat
Unavailable duo Alex Aubard and Michael Vitello were missed as Ruislip Eagles were beaten 35-26 at Cambridge.
The home side dominated the first half, with Francisco Seco scoring for them eight times, and did more than enough to win the game.
Ruislip’s defeat means they slip to fourth position in the National Super 8 Men’s Handball League, with Cambridge well clear in third.
The Eagles will now be looking to respond in the European Challenge Cup game against Bulgarian side Spartak Varna this weekend.
