Disgruntled Bees fans upset boss Rosler

Brentford boss Uwe Rosler insisted supporters who barracked him during the victory over Colchester were “out of order”.

The Bees came from behind to win 3-1 and end a disappointing run of form, but a section of fans directed their anger at falling behind towards the manager early in the second half.

Rosler said: “I am very disappointed with our own supporters, who personally I have a lot of time for.

“I show my appreciation to them week in, week out. To sing at 1-0 down that I am getting sacked in morning was out of order. Luckily the players made sure that didn’t happen.”

Youngster Kadeem Harris scored on his debut after joining on loan from Cardiff City this week, while Chelsea loanee George Saville notched his first goal for the club after Marcello Trotta had equalised.

And Rosler said the fightback was reminiscent of the side that reached the play-off final last season.

“It was like the old days – a really good fightback,” he declared.

“We played better from the beginning today, we controlled the game totally.

“The players performed with a lot of pressure on them, put on us by both ourselves and the supporters. They performed fantastically and it was brilliant to see.”
