Ramires in Chelsea’s squad but is doubtful
Ramires has been included in Chelsea’s squad for Saturday’s derby against rivals Tottenham but remains a major doubt for the game.
The Brazilian midfielder picked up a hip injury during Tuesday’s Capital One Cup tie at Swindon, where he scored in the Blues’ 2-0 win.
He was assessed on Friday morning and will be part of the squad for the short trip to White Hart Lane, but looks increasingly likely to have to miss the match.
Ramires was substituted at half-time at the County Ground having come on to replace Marco Van Ginkel, who suffered a knee injury which will keep the Dutchman out for at least six months.
