Lowe signs new contract at Harlequins
George Lowe has signed an extension to his Harlequins contract.
Lowe, 23, has made more than 100 appearances for the club since making his debut in 2009 and his new deal will keep him there until 2016.
The England Under-20 international played an important role in Quins’ title triumph last year and boss Conor O’Shea was keen for him to agree new terms.
O’Shea said: “People will probably ask to check his birth certificate when they hear that George is still only 23 and has already played over 100 times for the club.
“He has incredible experience for someone of his age and in that respect he is now maturing as a player.”
Lowe added: “As soon as I was offered a new contract at Harlequins I knew I was going to stay.
“I have grown up at this club and know all the players and coaching staff really well, so it was a very easy decision to make.
“It’s always an honour to wear the Harlequins shirt and I’m looking forward to achieving more with this group of players over the coming seasons.”
