Ouseph books place in Denmark Open
Hounslow’s Rajiv Ouseph booked his place in badminton’s Denmark Open by coming from behind to beat Scott Evans in a qualification final on Tuesday evening.
Ouseph now has the dubious reward of facing world champion Lin Dan of China after defeating Irishman Evans 17-21, 21-12, 21-14 in Odense.
Earlier in the day Ouseph, 25, beat Russia’s Stanislav Pukhov 21-7, 21,17 in a first-round qualifier to set up a clash with old rival Evans, who won the first game before succumbing to the British number one.
