Berbatov is staying at Fulham, says agent
Dimitar Berbatov’s agent has told Russian newspaper Izvestia that the striker will definitely stay at Fulham despite recent speculation about his future.
Zenit St Petersburg are among the Russian clubs reported to be interested in the 32-year-old, who joined the Whites from Manchester United a year ago.
But his representative, Emil Danchev, has insisted that there is no prospect of Berbatov leaving Craven Cottage this summer.
“He has another one-year contract with Fulham and he will stay until the end of his contract,” Danchev is quoted as saying.
“He’s happy at Fulham and he wants to stay another year. I don’t want to comment on other clubs.
“Even if there is interest, he’s happy in Fulham and he wants to stay.”
