Fulham vying with QPR for the signing of Spurs man – report
Fulham are competing with QPR for the signing of Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker, the Daily Mirror say.
Rangers – who have not made an offer for the 32-year-old – have long been reported to be keen on Parker, who played under Harry Redknapp at Spurs.
And it is claimed that Fulham are ready to make a £4m bid for him ahead of the new season.
QPR chairman Tony Fernandes tried unsuccessfully to sign Parker prior to Redknapp’s appointment as manager at Loftus Road last year.
Meanwhile, the Daily Star say Fulham are facing a fight to hang on to Sascha Riether – just a month after signing him permanently.
Champions League qualifiers Schalke are said to be planning to table a bid for the German defender.
