QPR may have the measure of Everton – but they still look doomed

They are now 1/25 to be relegated, with doomed Reading (1/100), Sunderland 11/8, Wigan 13/8 and Aston Villa out to 10/3 after their win at Stoke (5/1).

Rangers, who have a good record against Everton, won at Goodison Park last season and need to do so again on Saturday, although the Blues are likely to be at full strength following the return from suspension of both Steven Pienaar and Marounae Fellaini.

Loic Remy and Kevin Mirallas may not be great goalscorers but they are certainly scorers of great goals and the former is 15/2 to grab the opener, with the Belgium star 19/4 and his returning international team-mate Fellaini 5/1.

Everton are chasing a Champions League spot and are 9/20 at betvictor to take the points with the R’s 7s and the draw at 18/5.

David Moyes’ side have only won two of their 11 previous league games against Rangers, who have scored 24 goals in those 11 fixtures.

A couple on Saturday might be enough for three valuable points, but it is possible that their race is run.

Fulham travel to a resurgent Villa (5/4) with the Whites 12/5 to win and the draw at 12/5.

Christian Benteke’s goals have played a large part in Villa’s recent revival and he is 5/1 at BetVictor to score first, with Dimitar Berbatov 6/1.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are 6/4 to retain the FA Cup this season, behind Manchester City (5/4) ahead of their semi-final at Wembley.

City are 13/10 to win in 90 minutes with Chelsea a stand-out 9/4 at betvictor.com and the draw 12/5.

If David Silva is fit it is likely that City will employ the same tactics they did against Manchester United earlier this week, but if he doesn’t make it I would think Sergio Aguero will replace him and the team will  play with two up front.

Aguero and Yaya Toure are 8/1 joint favourites to be named man of the match at BetVictor with Demba Ba and Juan Mata 9s, Eden Hazard 12s and John Terry 20s.

It will be interesting to see if Frank Lampard and Terry start the game, although it looks more likely that Benitez will play the side that beat United in the quarter-final replay if all are fit.

Chelsea are 4/5 to finish top London club with Arsenal 2s and Spurs out to 7/2 after their home draw with Everton last weekend.
