Fulham man likely to miss rest of season

Fulham winger Ashkan Dejagah looks almost certain to miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury.

Boss Martin Jol has revealed the 26-year-old Iranian requires an operation after suffering ligament damage.

Jol said: “Dejagah needs an operation, which he will probably have next week. I think he will be out for the rest of the season.”

Meanwhile, midfielder Eyong Enoh will undergo a late fitness test ahead of the game at Aston Villa on Saturday.

Enoh was substituted early in the second half after picking up a knock during Sunday’s defeat against Newcastle.
