QPR boosted their survival chances by achieving back-to-back wins for the first time since promotion to the Premier League. Here’s how we rated the players in their 3-1 victory against Sunderland.

Robert Green: 7
Sound enough during a couple of spells of Sunderland pressure. Blameless for the opening goal.

Jose Bosingwa: 7
His best game for Rangers by some distance. Composed on the ball in both halves of the pitch.

Chris Samba: 7
His pace and strength have allowed Rangers to open up and go for the points they need. Getting sharper with every game.

Clint Hill: 7
Showed his usual commitment and produced a number of important clearances.

Fabio: 7
Did well defensively and got forward too.

Andros Townsend: 8
Always direct and eager to attack – and his long-range strike could prove to be crucial at the end of the season.

Ji-sung Park: 7
Given some problems early on but settled into the game and did an important job in the centre of midfield.

Stephane Mbia: 7
A good day at the office for Mbia, who competed well in midfield, holding his own against the imposing Alfred N’Diaye.

Junior Hoilett: 8
Set the tone for a high-tempo Rangers display with his lively start. Was recently urged by boss Harry Redknapp to take his game up a level and has responded.

Bobby Zamora: 7
Offered a physical presence and plenty of know-how up front. Inevitably faded as the game wore on and his ankle and hip problems took their toll, but by that stage he had given Rangers a foothold in the game.

Loic Remy: 7
His pace was a constant threat to Sunderland and he took his goal beautifully. Missed a good chance shortly afterwards though.

Jamie Mackie: 7
His work-rate gave Sunderland something else to worry about after Zamora went off.

Shaun Wright-Phillips: 6
Didn’t have much time to make an impact after replacing Hoilett but did a steady job.

Jermaine Jenas: 7
A great strike for his injury-time goal.
