Bees bring in Bradley Wright-Phillips
Brentford have bolstered their strikeforce with the loan signing of Charlton striker Bradley Wright-Phillips.
The 27-year-old, brother of QPR winger Shaun Wright-Phillips, has signed until the end of the season and will also be available for the play-offs should the Bees be involved.
He has been among the leading marksmen in League One in the last two seasons, scoring 22 goals in each campaign, including the winner for Charlton at Griffin Park in November 2011.
His goals fired the Addicks to the title last season, although he has scored just once in the Championship this term.
Son of Arsenal legend Ian Wright, the former England Under-20 international began his career at Manchester City before spells at Southampton and Plymouth Argyle.
He was named in the PFA League One team of the year in 2010-11 – a few months after his move from Plymouth to Charlton.
