Half-time: Swansea 0 Chelsea 0 (Agg: 2-0)
Chelsea were unlucky not to find the net in the first half of the Capital One Cup semi-final clash at the Liberty Stadium.
Trailing 2-0 after their first-leg defeat, the Blues were full of attacking intent and went close when Gary Cahill’s header was cleared off the line by Angel Rangel.
And the visitors appealed in vain for a penalty after Demba Ba – preferred to Fernando Torres up front – went down under a challenge from Ben Davies.
Swansea remained a threat, however, and keeper Petr Cech produced a good save from Michu after the City forward had been set up by Wayne Routledge.
Chelsea: Cech, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Ivanovic, Cole, Ramires, Oscar, Lampard, Hazard, Ba, Mata.
Subs: Turnbull, Luiz, Torres, Ferreira, Marin, Terry, Bertrand.
