Sympathy for Bidwell after dismissal rules him out of Chelsea clash
Brentford boss Uwe Rosler sympathised with Jake Bidwell after the sending off which means the youngster will miss Sunday’s FA Cup clash with Chelsea through suspension.
The on-loan Everton defender was dismissed for a second bookable offence in the 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient and was visibly upset as he left Griffin Park after the match.
Rosler said: “Jake has been fantastic, so we can’t be too hard on him.
“But in another way he has to learn. His first yellow card was for kicking the ball away and that is unacceptable.
“Jake is only 19, he is allowed to make mistakes and he has been fantastic for us. He needs a break and he will get a break over the weekend.”
