Chelsea man’s future remains unclear
Interim manager Rafael Benitez says he is unsure about the future of Chelsea winger Florent Malouda.
The player is under contract until the end of the season but is not being considered for first-team selection.
Malouda has been linked with clubs in Brazil – where his wife is from – and his native France, but appears to be no closer to agreeing a move.
Benitez said: “He is not training with us and I have no more information. I don’t know. I just concentrate on the players I have at my disposal.”
Meanwhile, John Terry is set to make his long-awaited return to action following a knee injury.
