Sturridge move likely to go through
Daniel Sturridge’s switch from Chelsea to Liverpool is expected to be rubber-stamped in the coming days.
Sturridge is set to move to Merseyside for a fee of around £12m after being told he can leave Stamford Bridge.
A medical scheduled for this week did not take place and there has been wrangling over agents’ fees, prompting speculation that Liverpool may look elsewhere.
But the transfer is still on course to go through, with Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers keen for a deal to be put in place so that Sturridge’s move can be formally completed as soon as the January window opens.
Sturridge, 23, has scored 13 league goals for Chelsea since being signed from Manchester City in 2009.

And have we NO scouts at anfield ;-( Ian Ayre needs to leave ASAP,he is a disgrace in the transfer window ;-(

Cannot believe we are about to spunk up over £12 million on this chump when there are so many other potentials out there.
Come on FSG, pull out of this while you still can. You must see the half-witted way in which Sturridge and his “bros” are trying to play the media, it’s truly laughable, but one thing it’s not. It’s not the Liverpool way.

This is bulls**t.
Benitez stated that Sturridge was injured during the last Chelsea traning session, not quite sure how you pass a medical if yoour injured.
Or do you guys just make it up as you go along?.
