Luiz signs five-year Chelsea deal

David Luiz has signed a new five-year contract at Chelsea.

The defender, 25, put pen to paper following his team’s victory over Stoke at Stamford Bridge.

Luiz’s new deal ends speculation about his future following reports of interest from various European clubs, including Barcelona.

“I love everything about Chelsea and especially the fans, who have made me very welcome and given me great support,” he said.
