El Alagui scores late Brentford winner

Farid El Alagui’s late winner clinched a dramatic victory for Brentford at Griffin Park.

The Moroccan striker headed home Harry Forrester’s 88th-minute cross for his third goal in four league matches.

Toumani Diagouraga and Clayton Donaldson both squandered one-on-ones in a scrappy first half that saw Bees keeper Simon Moore save well to deny Ian Henderson.

When Donaldson missed another chance in the second half it looked like being a frustrating afternoon for Uwe Rosler’s men.

But they kept hammering on the door and were eventually rewarded.
