Di Matteo ‘to bring £35m Napoli striker to Chelsea’
Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo will make a £35m swoop to bring Napoli striker Edinson Cavani to Stamford Bridge, according to The Sun.
And it is claimed that if the deal for the Uruguay international stalls, Di Matteo could splash out £45m on his supposed second choice — Porto’s Brazilian striker Hulk.
Chelsea are also tipped to complete the signings of Marseille full-back Cesar Azpilicueta and Wigan’s Victor Moses.
The Daily Mail say Yossi Benayoun fears he is being priced out of a move away from Chelsea, who are said to want £3m for the midfielder.
Meanwhile, Rob Green’s place in the QPR side could already be under threat, according to the Daily Mirror.
The goalkeeper, who joined Rangers after deciding to leave West Ham this summer, made a mistake which led to the opening goal in Saturday’s 5-0 defeat against Swansea.
It is claimed that R’s boss Mark Hughes is now showing an interest in former Celtic keeper Artur Boruc.
The Poland international, 32, is a free agent after quitting Fiorentina and would apparently be keen to move to the Premier League.
The Mail report that Fulham look to have pipped Newcastle to the signing of FC Twente’s Brazilian defender Douglas after agreeing a £4.5m deal.

I think chelsea is better with hulk than cavani..
Hulk difinitely can bully the oppenent right defensive side ..
We dont have that offensive figure yet in our team
if we have both , then chelsea will be a force..
we are ready to face real madrid & barca

they play lampard & teryy just because he needs to install that
intelligence & experience in the team..
i think it is more on man management ..

well done R Di matteo i,m happy how chelsea going i think we only need cavani and the right bck v moses… Is not beter than lukaku …. What i wan,t 2 know is why lanpard and j terry are all the time first 11….i,m not couch but i can see mistakes of lanpard and terry ..they are our legend but now they have 2 be at pintch other wise any player we buy can,t do any thing while thouse 2 player are chlsea line up

What a fantastic display against reading.Pls, RDM we need Cavani,Hulk & azpilicueta Cesar.Forget about Moses for now.He might not be in his best for some many season

If it were not for replacements in case of injuries, Chelsea wouldn’t even think of buying more a good manager should have concentrated on what is available now

Di mateo should concentrate on buying a striker and a right back, but i am afraid Oscars talent might be sat on..why doesnt di matteo bench Lampard atleast for Oscar, Hazard and Mata to play behind a striker…….BENCH LAMPARD and play Ramirez with Obi Mikel

Cavani and Azpilicueta will be enough for now, We have good midfielders,enough defenders and wingers, reserve money for other things instead sell some midfielders and wingers.
