Chelsea ‘in fresh talks to sign right-back’
Chelsea have entered fresh talks with Marseille in an attempt to push through a deal for full-back Cesar Azpilicueta, according to the Daily Mirror.
Blues boss Roberto Di Matteo is said to want to complete the £6m signing of the Spaniard before the season starts.
Di Matteo will apparently turn to alternatives, including Juventus’ Switzerland right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner, if his pursuit of Azpilicueta does not work out.
The Daily Star run a story based on rumours that Inter Milan have joined Chelsea and Liverpool in pursuing Arsenal’s Theo Walcott.
Meanwhile, Clint Dempsey thinks Liverpool will now finally table a firm bid for him, the Mirror say.
Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers is interested in signing Dempsey from Fulham, where the American has reportedly fallen out with manager Martin Jol.
And it is claimed that Liverpool shelling out £15m to capture midfielder Joe Allen from Swansea has left Dempsey believing Rodgers will now look to complete a deal to sign him too.
Liverpool’s Merseyside rivals Everton are considering making a move for Dempsey, the Daily Mail report.
Once again it is suggested – this time by the Mail – that QPR want to loan Joey Barton to a League club in order to run down his 12-match ban but the Football League will not sanction a deal.
And The Sun claim Arsenal are ahead of QPR and Fulham in a race to sign South Korean star Ki Sung-Yueng from Celtic.

I am as confused like the management, “WHY?. They negletted the point of looking first for a replacement for sent away Bosingwa. Euro Nation Cup, The Czech Republic team with a Chelsea keeper, Peter Czech was playing with a very good Right back but could not convince him to join him at Chelsea. The Scouts of Chelsea also could not act fast in negociating him into Chelsea, carelessly lost him to Wemer Bremen of Germany.Peter Czech who has always failed in his duty to speek or arranging his defence to stand at a goal post each when corners are being taken. Like any other Goal keeper who has served in a team, I expect him to have at list surgestive influence who he feel could help in this domend yet he can’t. I don’t think if he did the Management could have given a complete deuf ear to him. I als have him to blame for being fulishly quite.

Chelsea in dire need of a defense overhaul.Ivanovich is not top EPL material, more like Westham or Bolton material. About that. Who’s the genius who brought in Gary Cahill? did they bother checking his goals against. Since the Arrival of these two, Chelsea has become one of the worst defence in the EPL. Even Terry is made to look awful ,imagine having to split your concentration with two other players constantly. You’re gona be making a lot of mistakes, and he does! Ashley Cole is not getting younger either. the next big problem is a top defensive midfielder. Absolutely none! too many mediocre players on this team.

rdm and abramovish had seen the result on chelson vs man, on what i said concerning not signing either cavani or hulk or even lewandoski or schurle or van persie, that they will continue to lose, until rdm spend money one more time, to sign any of the player listed above, for covering of the place or hole of drogba.
Be warned!!
