Trophy to be paraded at Bees Open Day

Brentford are holding a Family Open Day at Griffin Park on Sunday, starting at 10.30am.

Fans will be able to watch manager Uwe Rosler put his players through a training session on a newly-laid pitch, after which the squad will sign autographs and pose for photographs.

There will also be an opportunity for supporters to have a picture taken with the Olympic Torch, which will be present, and to take part in skills competitions organised by the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust coaches.

And the Bees’ Milk Cup-winning Under-15s will be there to parade the trophy they recently won by beating CSKA Moscow, Liverpool and Everton in the prestigious youth tournament.

The event also includes the launch of Brentford’s new home kit, which is currently available to order online. Any pre-orders will be available for collection on Sunday.
