Another draw for Brentford in Germany
Egrzgebirge Aue 1 Brentford 1
Myles Weston was on target for Brentford as their second pre-season friendly in Germany ended in a draw.
Weston put Uwe Rosler’s side ahead with a 16th-minute penalty after Shaleum Logan’s right-wing cross had been handled in the area.
The hosts levelled seven minutes later when keeper Richard Lee appeared to save striker Halil Savran’s header but the ball was adjudged to have crossed the line.
Brentford were then put under sustained periods of pressure, although Jonathan Douglas and Harry Forrester both had chances to score.
Trialists Leon Redwood, Andy Taylor and Joe Tsoumou again featured for the Bees.
Full-back Taylor impressed on the left flank after coming on for Redwood during the second half.
